Privacy Policy

What we collect

Order details: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you ordered.
Payment details: payments are handled by our checkout provider (Shopify) and payment processors. We do not see or store your full card number.
Your design: the photo you upload, the text you type, and the cover designs made from them.
Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact form.
Device and usage data: things like your browser, IP address, and the pages you visit, collected with cookies and similar tools.

Your photos

We use your photo only to make your order: to create your cover design, show you a preview, and print your binder.
To create the design, your photo is sent to an AI image service that works for us. We do not sell your photo, share it for advertising, or use it in our marketing without asking you first.
We delete your uploaded photo and design files 90 days after your order (or 90 days after you upload them if you do not order).
Only upload photos you have the right to use. If the photo shows someone else, make sure they are okay with it. If it shows a child, you must be their parent or guardian or have their permission.

How we use your information

To make, ship, and support your order, and to send order and shipping emails.
To answer your questions and handle refunds or reprints.
To keep the store secure and stop fraud.
To improve our website and, if you agree, to send you offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To follow the law.

We share information only with companies that help us run the store, and only what they need:

Shopify, which hosts our checkout and order system (see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy).
Our printing and production partner, and shipping carriers, so they can make and deliver your binder.
Service providers for website hosting, file storage, AI image creation, email, and analytics.
Advertising partners, if you allow it. You can opt out of this at any time by emailing us at support@giftbinder.com.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these companies are outside your country, so your information may be processed in other countries.

How long we keep it

Photos and design files: deleted after 90 days, as described above. Order records (name, address, what you bought) are kept as long as we need them for taxes, accounting, and the law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or opt out of targeted advertising. Email us at support@giftbinder.com and we will help. You can also ask us to delete your photo sooner than 90 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Photos of children may only be uploaded by a parent, guardian, or someone with their permission.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date at the top.
